Another week, another blog. Not too much exciting to talk about, though!   I've been knitting up a storm, getting ready for a class I'm teaching at the ArtBarn this week and am impatiently waiting for our next choir practice.  We've hit on something wonderful this year.  I'm so excited to present Forever Glorified!

It's been a little bit of a tense week - there's a lot of changes going on where my husband works and no one's certain exactly what's going to happen.   I'm holding onto good thoughts!

My volunteer activity is escalating.  Time to get started for our annual Community Bazaar that's being held in September.  Also working on our Easter Cantata, the Fall FiberFest and several other activities.   It'll be good to be busy - but I sure would like to find a nice part time job!

Here's some pictures of my latest work:

I do love to knit!  Funny how I used to think of knitting as an old lady skill.  And I guess since I am 60 years old -  I kind of qualify as an old lady.  I sure don't feel old, though! In my mind, I'm about 35.  In my mind, I can still hike up rocky formations at the state park, dance til dawn, canoe for hours and swim 1000 yards without much effort.   Key words here.....in my mind!  Then I get up out of my chair, and shuffle for a few yards til my arthritic hip catches up.    Doggone....I AM getting old!   Oh well.......beats the alternative!    Til next time.  I'll likely have more to say.......
